Deceased Kent Blackwelder, finished 7th place on Big Brother Season 2

Kent Blackwelder was a 46 year old Mortgage Broker from Powell, Tennessee when he competed on Big Brother Season 2 in 2001.  He finished in 7th place. According to Fandom, "Kent was known for his strong friendship with Bunky Miller in spite of his conservative views, including at one point allowing Bunky to sleep in the HOH bed with him."  ​

He passed away in 2017, at the age of 62.  It is reported that he was the first Big Brother houseguest in the USA to pass away.
