Married At First Sight Season 10 Update is a must read! This season featured five, yes five couples. It has a lot of drama, with only three weeks remaining to final decisions to stay marry or not. The drama ensued early in the season. Why can't married people just get along? (smile).

Austin Hurd and Jessica Studer.
Austin Hurd is a Network Engineer and Jessica Studer is a Registered Nurse. Jessica boasted on one of the episodes about her making "significantly" making more money than Austin. Honestly, is this an appropriate thing to say in any relationship?
Jessica has already admitted on camera to being in love with Austin. When they had a conversation about love, Austin stated that it takes time. Do you think they will stay together?
Brandon Reid and Taylor Dunklin.
Brandon Reid and Taylor Dunklin. Brandon is in his early 30's and Taylor is in her late 20's. They are an unbelievable couple! During the matchmaking season, I was so surprised they even paired these two.
Brandon is a Beer Sales Representative and Taylor is a Reasearcher/PhD student. Brandon is a rebel type who wears two earrings and has plenty of tattoos. I just didn't see them as a good match. During the filming, Brandon gave the producers and camera people a difficult time. He didn't want to be filmed. He actually used profanity towards Taylor at the end of their honeymoon. Taylor went as far as to post a disrespectful video that targeted Brandon as not being the man for her. This relationship was doomed from the start. Brandon ended things during one of their counseling session. However, for some reason they are back together. What will happen to their marriage?
Michael Watson and Meka Jones.
Michael Watson, a 31 year old Educational Program Director and Meka Jones, a 25 year old Category Analyst. This marriage is full of drama. In fact, on their honeymoon, Michael decided to rent another hotel room versus stay in the room with Meka. Meka is a straightforward strong-will female. I think it would be tough for any guy to deal with her on a day-to-day basis. She has called Michael a liar on almost every episode. What a great way to nurture a relationship. Kudos to Michael for sticking with her during the filming. How will they end up?
Zach Justice and Mindy Shiben.
Zach Justice is a model, and Mindy Shiben is a Figure Skating Coach. Both are in their early 30's. Mindy is a sweetheart. She tolerated so much from Zach, including him admitting to not being attracted towards her and also to not living with her.
He also had a secret friendship with one of her friends. She is always nice and pleasant towards him. She deserves someone who will treat her better. Will they stay together?
Derek Sherman and Katie Victoria Vazquez
Derek Sherman and Katie Victoria Vazquez. Derek is a 26 year old Cyber Security Engineer and Katie is a 26 year old Health Professional Child Therapist. Since Katie is a Therapist, I am surprised that she creates so many issues in her relationship.
Derek has many life goals, and Katie thinks he should narrow it down. Katie appears to try to wear her head on Derek's shoulder. This couple is working through their issues. Do you think they will make it?

Evan Smith. Kaci Campbell. Morgan Lolar.
Evan Smith and Kaci Campbell was the most interesting couple during the season. Kaci was 1,000 percent confident in her relationship with Evan. In fact, during a bonfire, she had a chance to watch a video that would given her evidence of Evan's behavior and status; however, she chose not to watch the video. As they say, ignorance is bliss. Would you want to find out details about your significant other's behavior that will help you make a decision regarding your relationship?
In the end, Evan chose one of the singles, Morgan Lolar. He proposed to her after the show. They lived in Virginia for most of their relationship, and they recently relocated to California. Unfortunately, during early 2020 their relationship ended because Evan allegedly cheated (as per Morgan's Instagram account). In this case, past behavior became a predictor of future behavior.
Karl Collins and Nicole Tutewohl
Karl Collins and Nicole Tutewohl from Chicago, also experienced the challenge of temptation. They were in a relationship for two years prior to joining the cast of Temptation Island. Nicole gained insight about herself, and their relationship. She decided that she wanted to venture out on her own during the finale episode. During the season, Karl had a single on the Island who showed him romantic interest, but he didn't pick her during the finale. He appeared disappointed with Nicole's decision.
Javen Butler and Shari Ligons
Javen Butler and Shari Ligons both remained dedicated to each other while on Temptation Island Season 1. They have been together since the age of 16. In fact, neither of them even opened up for an emotional attachment with the singles. At the end of the show, Javen proposed to Shari. They are still engaged today.
John Thurmond and Kady Krambeer.
John Thurmond and Kady Krambeer from Fort Worth, Texas, were also on Season 1 of Temptation Island. Kady had what a lot of women prefer, a man who is dedicated to them. However, Kady found fault with John, and decided to go her separate way. She dated one of the singles from the Island after the show for a short period.

Season 8 of Married at First Sight (MAFS) was filmed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This was the first season they featured four couples. Another first for MAFS: two out of four couples on the show are still married!
Sheryl Braxton was on Season 2 of Big Brother. When she entered the home in 2001, she was an Interior Decorator from Ponte Verda Beach, Florida. She was 43 years of age, and the second oldest for the season. She is now 61 years old. Sheryl was nominated by Mike Malin ('Mike Boogie"), in attempt to get Nicole Schaffrich out, but his plan backfired and Sheryl went home instead. As we watch Bachelor, Bachelorette, Bachelor in Paradise, we've seen individuals turned into Reality Stars portrayed as villains, heroes, independent women, damsels in distress, and more. We've also seen unique individuals who find very entertaining and some become fan favorites.
Would you agree that Paul John Jones is a fan favorite? There is something special about the way he carries himself, at least on the big screen. When Tayshia responded with a "I'm not there yet..." to Paul John Jones request for a commitment on the last episode of Bachelor in Paradise, and Paul John Jones quickly exited the scene; I was very surprised that they ended up together after the show. Were you surprised? How did you view Tayshia? I viewed her as someone who is more on the vain side. No offense to her, as I think she is just a product of her environment, as California is full of vain people. I saw John Paul Jones as someone who is more on the intellectual side. He has a lot of depth. I did recognize during their episodes that they are both playful, but is that enough? In the end, it's good to take a chance on love, because you never know which side of the rose you will stand. Wish them the best. 
Hardy-Ames Hill from York, Pennsylvania was a houseguest on Big Brother Season 2. He was 31 years old at the time of filming in 2001. He was an Account Manager. He lasted pretty long out of the 12 guests, as he finished in 4th place. This was an idolized season for Big Brother, as the house contained highly acclaimed big brother players, which will be covered in future posts.
Hardy is known as having an alliance with Nicole Nilson Schaffrich. He also won three Head of Household competitions, which supports him lasting so long in the house. One of the acclaimed houseguest casted the sole vote to evict him (read in future posts). Hardy-Ames is a handsome 49 year old Film Actor. He appeared in CrossBones, Summer Desire and Yes, Dear. |
